When you live in Chertsey, you describe how your day went by first beginning with how many bug bites you may have gotten that day or, depending on how early it is, the previous day. A typical conversation might go like this:
Person 1: "Hey! Good morning! Did you sleep well?"
Person 2: "Yeah, it was alright, I got a few bites yesterday that itched all night"
Person 1: "Oh that's too bad... you didn't scratch did you? I got four nasty ones yesterday that were killing me last night"
*both itch bites on leges*
Person 3: "Oh man! I must have gotten four bites in my sleep... did you guys get eaten yesterday?"
You can basically see how our lives revolve around the small insects that constantly fly around our heads and eat our flesh.
But summer isn't all about the flesh eating plague hovering over Capernwray Quebec... it's also about spending time outside with friends and family!
It's been a great summer so far :) Friends came to visit from all across Canada, even hauling 8 month old twins out to us in the woods so we can meet them.
The past two months have reminded me of the huge family that is Capernwray Quebec and what a blessing it is for me to be a part of it! It's really weird to think I'm leaving in just under two months... it's also hard for me to think just how fast those months will fly by!
