Chertsey

As I sit here on a couch with two amazing people debating about our futures, my mind begins to wander. What will the next 10 years look like?

I have so many options at this point in my life. I've been invited to work with two different ministries in Panama, I could always go back to Uruguay, I could stay here and work in the ministry, I could go to Quebec City and find a job, I could go back to Montreal and work... the options are endless.

For the moment I'm super content here in the black fly capital of the world- Chertsey, QC: the sprawling metropolis of split-level houses covered in plastic. Home sweet home.

Life in Motion

In the past month I've been the the airport more than 10 times.

I love watching people at the airport. There are people crying and people racing to other people's arms. I stand behind my sign with the names "Andrew & Lisa" scribbled across the front and as I squint (you know- because I'm blind) and pretend not to
stare at the people who look like candidates collecting their luggage. There I observe, amongst the "private" drivers (I like to think that one day Jason Statham will show up there) who seem to be best friends who haven't seen eachother in ages- gossiping and telling eachother about how the weekend went. I'm sure I have the sweetest ride: a beige Honda Oddessy.

The airport is one of my favorite places to be. The excitement, the sadness, the fear, the anixety and the many many coffee shops to keep all these emotions flowing.
